Good morning!

We finally beated the dreaded *2 books behind* of my Storygraph goal, caused by not reading much after the launching of ToTK 😅 I decided to pick smaller books, one of them non-fiction, going a bit off my comfort zone.

The book of Superstitious Stuff

I liked how easy this was to read, although it surprised me onto taking longer than I would’ve thought to read. Devided onto Unlucky / Lucky / Death & Pregnancy, it was quite amusing to see the wierd things people believe in different parts of the world; in theme with the Autumn seasons aswell!

I gotta say, my favorite was the one where drawing a penis outside your house is supposed to be lucky, going to even have benedictions where they whack you behind the head with wooden phalluses! 😂

 

 

Night of the Mannequins

I appreciated the book being in first person POV, but not at all the story I thought we were gonna have. A fun prank going south involving a mannequin.. sounds fun, right?

I thought I knew where this was going, which I theoretically was right- as we never saw Manny for real… but that ending?! I don’t understand..
