Thank you to Dorothy @ Starlit Shelves to have tagged me for this the other day 💕  I’m not the best one to come with questions, but I shall try my best!

My answers;

1. What’s the story behind your blog’s name?
I’m not too much of a creative person.. and the first thing to come to mind was to smash two of my favorite things – books and dachshunds 🤷🏽‍♀️ The name just stayed although I expended my blogging topics.

 

2. If you could re-read any book as though it would be your first time reading it, what would you pick? Why?
I’m gonna go with Meet me in Cockleberry Bay.. because my brain likes to reminds me things that happened while I played some part of games/read specific books. And I read the second book of this trilogy while I was on vacation last year at my ex’s parents house.. so yeah.

 

3. What do you like to do outside of blogging?
Mainly gaming 🙈  Right now i’m playing Sims 4, Legend of Zelda; Breath of the wild, Animal Crossing; new horizon & Story of  Seasons; friends of mineral town.

 

4. If you woke up tomorrow in the world of a book you’ve read, which one would you hope it was?
Right now, i’d love to go to cockleberry bay; From Nicola May’s trilogy. Even better if I can bring my two with me to go meet Hot the dachshund, walk them on the beach & “hill” of cockleberry.. i’d love to visit the Café & Hotel too!

 

5. What would the title of your biography/memoir be?
I quite like «Memoirs of an Insomniac», It has a nice ring to it.

 

6. Do you use traditional bookmarks or something else?
Regular bookmark all the way! I have plenty but mainly use the same two; the dachshund one that I paid way too much for a fundraiser, and the other is a paper from a pen wrapper with two gems magnets bookmark attached to it.

 

7. What was your favorite book as a kid?
I don’t quite remember much of the old books that I used to love.. but what I do remember is “Les aventures de Tintin” comics & find Waldo, that I always borrowed when I went to my godmother’s.

 

8. What book would you love to see get made into a tv show or movie?
I’ve seen lots of good answers out there, but I mainly think Radio Silence would be a good one.

 

9. What made you fall in love with reading?
My godmother gets all the credits 💕  But I also have a post on it [where it all started]

 

10. Be honest: do you ever judge a book off its cover?
Yes and no.. if it’s a really bad cover, it’s enough to drive me off of wanting to read it- but on the other hand, the cover might attract my eyes; but the synopsis is what really makes me choose if I wanna read it or not.

 

11. What’s your ideal reading set up?
I see it as a winter/autumn chilly night, with a warm pajama & fluffy blanket with something hot to drink and my dogs ☕️
