March ’24 Wrap up

Hello everyone !

Spring has finally Sprung!! However, we had been having a few days in a row of rains lately.. which i’m glad it’s not snow.. but still quite morose and depressing 😅 It also been chilly, but not as cold where I had been able to go to work in only my cardigan most days so I consider this a win !!

March feels;

We have a few good news for this month; firstly, mother went for her knee xray after 6 weeks of rest.. and surprisingly it stuck ! So no more brace and she’s now on the mend and doing some physio for it 🙂 She’s so happy to finally be able to leave the house.. but now we’ve been having bad weather so se can’t go that far 😆

and lastly, my oldest sausage turned 10 years on the 21st!! 😭 I’m hopeful he can have another 5-10yrs atleast as he still looks good for his age and everything, but man I can’t believe we had him for a decade already!

What i’ve read;

I’ve been knocking a good majority of my Spring TBR already! I’ve finished 4 books this month – L’Eveilleur tome 2 (finale of my Quebec horror serie.. that i’ve been putting off for months), La belle et la bête, The Psychology of Stupidity & Before the coffee gets cold. 

I’m currently ahead of my reading goal by 3 books 👏🏼 13/40 books read this year, and i’m pretty proud of myself to not only have read that finale, but also Before the coffee gets cold, that had been one of those books where I kept being like “oh yeah.. I need to read this.”. I’ve started the 4th book off my Spring TBR, that I also had put on TBRs multiple time, No judgement.

March’s highlights; 

♥︎ It had been a not-so-bad blogging month, where we only skipped one post. Among the Randomizing my TBR, First lines friday & Let’s talk bookish, I’ve posted Re-visiting old favorites; the Spiderwick chronicles, do you fidget while reading? andHommage to Grisette; getting a new cat after the passing of a loved one.

♥︎ I finally got my Covid & Flu shot this month!! considering my parents got theirs back in December.. but hey, better late than never eh? 😅 My days off never aligned with the dates they were doing the double shots, and i’m usually only off on the weekends..

♥︎ Gaming wise, I started the month obsessing over SoS pioneer of OliveTown.. and then the new Stardew Valley update launched so I have been warped in it again ahah! So wierd to be playing it on my mac again, as I had been so used to the switch.
